Our school’s primary aim is to teach the Persian language and promote the richness of Iranian culture, especially among the younger generation. We provide a warm, dynamic, and multifaceted environment where Persian is not only a subject of study but also a living means of communication across age groups.
In this setting, students learn to express their needs, emotions, and ideas in Persian in various real-life contexts. Through this process, they develop meaningful connections with fellow Persian speakers, deepen their understanding of cultural roots, and build a strong sense of identity and belonging. This is especially valuable for only children or those growing up away from Persian-speaking communities, as it opens the door to new social experiences and nurtures a sense of self-worth and cultural pride.
Classes are held in person on Saturdays and also offered privately or online during the week. In addition to Persian language instruction, we provide cultural and artistic activities, along with academic support aligned with the UK school curriculum.
Families also play an active and meaningful role in strengthening social bonds and enriching their children’s cultural journey.
Parent Engagement Meetings

Farsi for Adult Learners
In our classes, learning Farsi encompasses more than just vocabulary and grammar; you will delve into the culture, traditions, perspectives, and ways of expressing thoughts and emotions that provide the language with its true meaning.
The main goal of parent-teacher meetings is to enhance collaboration and communication between parents and educators, ultimately supporting students' academic success and personal growth. The Teachers’ Council is a structured platform designed for collaborative reflection, professional dialogue, and collective decision-making on educational and pastoral matters within the school. By actively engaging teachers, administrators, and other staff members, the council aims to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, support students’ academic and personal growth, and address challenges related to the school.
Our school’s enrichment activities offer students the chance to explore and develop their skills, interests, and talents in a creative and supportive environment. Among these activities are traditional and folkloric games, which are deeply rooted in Iranian culture and heritage. Passed down through generations, these games not only provide joy and participation but also play a crucial role in preserving and sharing cultural identity.

At Danesh Education, we utilize Game-Based Learning as a contemporary approach to teaching and learning. By integrating game elements and mechanisms, we foster an engaging, interactive, and dynamic environment. Educational concepts are taught through hands-on experiences in the form of play. This method allows our students to practice, repeat, and learn in a safe, creative, and risk-free setting.
The various ancient Persian celebrations and traditions—such as Nowruz, Yalda, Mehregan, Chaharshanbe Suri, and Sizdah Bedar—hold a significant place in our culture. Observing these rituals within educational settings is particularly important. They play a key role in preserving and passing down Iranian culture and identity while also deepening students' connection to the history and heritage of their homeland. Celebrating these occasions fosters a joyful, friendly, and collaborative atmosphere that not only strengthens social bonds but also creates lasting, positive memories for students.
Farsi is a poetic and melodic language, full of rich, meaningful expressions. It is not just a system of grammar and vocabulary. It reflects the history, literature, customs, and worldview of an entire civilization. To truly understand Farsi, one must engage with its cultural depth. Idioms, proverbs, and expressions carry meanings beyond direct translation. They reveal how people think, feel, and interact with the world. A language without its culture is only half understood. Even the best dictionary cannot teach these layers of meaning.

About us
Danesh School began its journey in 2016, focusing on teaching the Persian language.
The school’s founder is an experienced educator with a long-standing background in teaching and learning. From the outset, the mission has been to improve the quality of education by selecting a skilled teaching team well-versed in modern educational technologies. Ongoing training sessions are held regularly to keep teachers up to date, and the school actively fosters partnerships with other academic institutions as part of its broader goals.
The school’s core mission is to promote the Persian language and introduce the richness of Iranian culture to all who are interested, especially the younger generation. A wide range of classes is offered for all age groups, from children to adults, with a special focus on students aiming to obtain a GCSE qualification in Persian Language.
To support students’ academic achievement, the school also offers booster classes in core subjects, including Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Additionally, in response to the interests and needs of adults, the school offers a variety of courses including filmmaking, calligraphy, painting, yoga, counselling, and psychology.

When I first joined the online course with Danesh Education, I had very limited knowledge of Persian. Step by step, I learned the alphabet and built up my confidence. Within just a year and a half, I was able to go from the very beginning all the way to completing the GCSE Persian exam.
